Oracle filed a lawsuit against Google Inc. for patent and copyright infringement related to Java technology, particularly Google’s Android System for mobile phones.

Oracle is seeking an order to stop Google from further building Android, plus monetary damages for copyright infringement.

Oracle said in its complaint, that Google’s Android is been competing with their America’s Java as an operating system for mobile phones and other mobile devices.

Well this news will seem to raise some serious questions and concerns on Android phone users and application developers, as well as the Java community.

Just recently updated this blog after a long time, and it is now powered by BlogEngine.Net 1.6 - latest version as of now.

BlogEngine.NET is an open source .NET blogging development project that was made out of yearning for an improved blog platform which involves simplicity, straightforward customization, and takes advantage of the latest .NET features. BlogEngine.NET was made using the modern .NET framework and is written using C#, plus it's light weight and focused on simplicity, ease of flexibility, and new features. It looks forward to be the natural blog choice for all .NET developers worldwide.

A complete list of the features and changes on BlogEngine.NET 1.6 can be found here.

I highly recommend it especially if you're into .NET progamming or other .NET stuffs. You can also create your own extensions or widgets using C# programming language and share it to  the community, like I did, as well as design themes for it using ASP.Net.
